Powers Tractor is a family owned and operated business that has been serving Roanoke, Bedford and the surrounding areas for over 50 Years. J. Henry and Lorene Powers purchased an International Harvester dealership, Moneta Tractor & Equipment Company in 1960. In 1979 they built a second location, Powers Tractor & Equipment Company Inc. in Vinton. In 1983 the Moneta business was closed and everything was moved to the Vinton location where it is today on Route 24 just East of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Today, with a wide variety of New and Used Mowers, Tractors, Utility Vehicles and Equipment to choose from, we're sure you can find what you are looking for here at our dealership. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
Our Parts Department is well stocked with parts for every brand of equipment we sell. We also still stock, and can order parts for International Harvester and Farmall tractors and equipment. If we don't have the part you're looking for in stock, we can order it. In many cases we can have them the next day. If needed, we can even ship parts to your door.
Our Factory-Trained Service Department is ready to help when you need service and/or repairs. "We Service What We Sell" is our long time shop slogan as we specialize in servicing the brands we sell. We don't work on every brand out there and with that we can get your equipment serviced and repaired and back to work for you in a timely manner. Our customers and the equipment they purchase from us are Powers Tractor's number one priority.
With our Almost 60 years of serving Central and Southwest Virginia, Powers Tractor & Equipment Company is based on the belief that our customers' home and farm equipment needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire Powers Tractor Team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
Our family has been selling Cub Cadet Lawn & Garden tractors and equipment for almost 60 years. We were recognized as one of only 80 remaining original Cub Cadet dealers in the United States at the national dealer meeting in Florida in October 2011.
We have been a Kubota dealer since 1980. Powers Tractor was recognized as one of the oldest Kubota dealers in the Southeast Division at a recent dealer meeting in Atlanta.
